About 5 soldiers and I are having a musical conversation about rap music. This is one of the first conversations where I feel out of place because I don't listen to rap. They drop names and I'm like, "Who?" I kind of want to listen to goochy man & lil' wayne.

Well, as you all know, Michael Jackson passed away. Man, I loved him with the Jackson 5. I need to listen to his solo albums. More on my list to buy.

I was a bit sad to hear of Michal Jackson's passing, since he had a tour in the works, I believe. It would have been cool to see how it would have turned out. R.I.P. Michael, and may your music live on.

This weekend for July 4th, we will get to eat pizza, pop & candy. I may have mentioned that in my last blog. I don't remember. But, I believe there is also a concert on July 4th, I wonder who it is?? I want Lynyrd Skynyrd to play for some reason.

Supposedly, today my platoon gets to watch a movie. We will see I guess!
